Open Day Weekend – 27th & 28th June 2015

Hermitage had two interesting historic vessels coming up the Thames to be here and open to visitors. The Thames sailing barge "Will" (built 1925, steel) and Tug "Touchstone" (built 1962).  All the resident vessels were here as usual, with information panels explaining their histories. Hermitage is excited to welcome Mike Webber back to the moorings to run two Mudlarking training courses. Shtandart Open to the Public

Russian replica Frigate Shtandart arrived at Hermitage yesterday. This beautiful 3-masted ship now dominates the moorings. We're excited to offer you the opportunity to get an up close look on Sunday, when we're inviting visitors on board. Swale 2014
