The first Open Weekend of 2025 brings new ventures in fund raising for the charity HRP.

Tea towels, tote bags and cards have been produced in modest numbers to a design by a teenage budding artist resident at Hermitage.

Great gifts, enjoyable to use and a pleasure to behold the gull design is sure to be popular.

Visiting boat – this March unfortunately we don’t have a vessel here as part of the Open Days. All vessels but older ones in particular need a lot of time and effort to keep them going and currently quite a few vessels that have been here before are out of commission undergoing renovations, but we will bounce back in June with sailing barge “Will” which is celebrating its centenary this year – yes, built in 1925 the steel barge has been plying the Thames for 100 years now.
