For the 200 year anniversary of the RNLI The Landmark Arts Centre has organised this event to celebrate these unsung heroes of the river.
This Sunday afternoon workshop at Hermitage 4- 6pm is the first of three, to reflect the 3 lifeboat stations on the river. Hermitage Moorings is a short way downstream of the RNLI Tower Station, at the more choppy end of the river. The other two shanty events are in Chiswick and Teddington.
Follow the link below to find out more and to book your place at the workshop, which is free of charge but has to be booked to manage numbers.
Having taken part in the Workshop you’ll have the chance on 2nd November to perform with singers from the Chiswick and Teddington workshops and the acclaimed shanty band Monkeyfists at a special concert at the Landmark Art Centre, Teddington.
