Barge owners – you are welcome to join us at Hermitage Moorings for two free evening workshops covering two aspects of barge gear:
Wed 10th July 7pm – 9pm Rigging (for sailing barges)
Wed 17th July 7pm – 9pm Boat Maintenance (all barges/big boats)
These are run by Tommy who used to run The Will, a historic steel Thames sailing barge.
He’s brilliant, very clear and incredibly knowledgeable. Bring your pen & notepad and yours questions!
Free entry – however, donations to Hermitage River Projects (river & boat focused charity based at Hermitage) are always welcome.
