The Kentish Sailing Association’s Swale Match, now in it’s 41st year, has become a tradition for the boats at hermitage. Congratulations to the following for their awards:
- Cabby, although not regularly moored at Hermitage she was crewed by some of our residents. Awarded 1st Brent Cup for Restricted Staysail Barges
- Stormvogel, looking beautiful after her recent paint job was given the Faversham Creek Cup for Traditional Steam or Motor Vessels
- Twee Gezusters, back to defend her title for a second year running was awarded the Jack Pawsey Remembrance Trophy for Dutch Barges /Humber Keels
