We are pleased to announce that the historic Thames Sailing Barge ‘Will’ is going to be opening to the public this weekend 27th and 28th June alongside the tug Touchstone.300px-Sb-will TOUCHSTONE
Our regular Archeologist and foreshore expert Mike Webber will be on hand in the pierhouse to talk to visitors about recent mudlarking finds, on display in the ‘treasure chest’ and the rich maritime history of Wapping and the Pool of London.
The pop up Hermitage cafe will also be open, serving teas, coffee and home made cakes in the pierhouse and residents of the moorings will be on hand to talk to visitors about life afloat!
